Ask me if I care about the whole Mark McGwire issue. Go ahead. Ask. I do just a little, but largely I don’t. When we get down to it, when we sit down and banter around and hash it all out, what is it that I should really care about? I’m not surprised he admitted his steroid use, [...] So says former Minnesota governor and former WWF superstar Jesse “The Body” Ventura. (Now first though, Jesse: lose the mullet. You’re bald. Embrace it. Rock it. Unless you’re doing it for some other movie gig.) The video hasn’t aired yet, nor does the video in the story linked to earlier have anything to do with it. So don’t [...] So, you’ve probably heard about this Alex Rodriguez guy and what he was up to back in 2001-2003. Does it surprise me? At one level – the cynical, there’s no Santa Claus part of me – no. Canseco threw almost all of MLB under the bus when he wrote his book, and the Mitchell Report followed up [...] Surprisingly, I wasn’t tuned in to see Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper hosting “CNN’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve Special.” And even if I had, being a West Coaster, I would have missed this hilarity that got edited out in the rebroadcasts. Damn Eastern Time Zone people…getting the good stuff, once again. Oh well – I’m still not moving. And [...] |
